Office Procedures
Dr Kawji performs office-based procedures including:
- Intravitreal injections (Avastin, Lucentis, Eylea, Kenalog, Ozurdex, Triesence) for treatment of macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal vein occlusion.
- Retinal laser surgeries for management of diabetic eye disease, or to repair retinal holes & detached retina.
- Pneumatic retinopexy (gas bubble injection to treat retinal detachment)
- Ocular ultrasound, which is useful for conditions where the view to the back of the eye is blocked (for example, due to advanced cataract or significant bleeding in the eye)
